Alfa Romeo’s 2.5L 6C power plant is a proven reliable mill capable of lasting to 300k miles. The Verde’s 3.0L is basically a longer stroked, bigger bore duplication everything else is identical otherwise. It lends itself easily to modifications providing you’re a savvy engine builder. It is a full aluminum 60 degree V6 with hemispherical combustion chambers aka hemi heads sporting two valves per. This engine has two camshafts, one per bank mounted over head and belt driven. I think it is still one of the best looking mills ever produced. I powder coated the plenum, valve covers and bell housing wrinkle finish red, an Italian favorite. Custom wires were made from Moroso’s best.
